There are also grants available for sponsored healthcare and emergency services workers to access these services for free. You can access to a mental health worker who can guide you through our programs and what is best suited. Get in contact with one of our dedicated representatives to explore your options.

Yes, we accept friends travelling together on our Nurses in Action program providing you both have suitable qualifications.
There are many services on our site that include Continued Professional Development (CPD) accreditation. For example, our Nurses in Action program can offer you up to 20 hours of your annual CPD requirements. This in turn makes both your program fee and your flights tax deductible for you. There are a number of training programs offered on our site that can also offer you CPD accreditation.
Healthcare Heartbeat is a subsidiary of World Youth International, a registered Australian charity operating since 1988. Launched in December 2021, Healthcare Heartbeat was created to address the issues our frontline healthcare workers are facing on a daily basis. We are using this platform to allow every Australian a way in which they can give back to these amazing men and women.

Once you have been approved for a Bronze, Silver or Gold Scholarship package, you will be required to set up an account on our site. This personal account will hold your allocated tokens which you can use to spend on our services. Your account will be linked to our E‑Commerce site in which you will apply your tokens. In some cases, such as our accommodation packages, you may be required to pay a fee in addition to your token if your allocation has been exceeded.
You will be given 6 months to spend your tokens on our site. If you exceed the 6 month time frame and you still have tokens left to spend, those tokens will be forfeited by you and returned to Healthcare Heartbeat. Tokens cannot be shared with other frontline healthcare workers.
